Forschungsgebiete

Amal El-Obeidi arbeitet zu Politischen Eliten, Übergangsrecht und Regierungsführung sowie Stammespolitik und politische Kultur in Libyen. Sie setzt sich außerdem mit der Rolle des politischen Islam auseinander.

In Bayreuth wird Amal El-Obeidi ihre Arbeit zu politischen Eliten, Fragen der Regierungsführung (Governance) sowie Stammespolitik und Politik jenseits des Staates in Libyen fortsetzen.
